The filings of Bills of Entry were not available in ICEGATE from 11 a.m. on 23 July 2024 (Budge Day) till the completion of updating of all changes in ICES. Due to this, some importers were not able to file Bills of Entry as the system was unavailable. In view of the above, ‘late fee’ imposable in terms of Bills of Entry (Forms) Amendment Regulations, 2017 vide Notification no. 27/2017-Customs(N.T.) dated 31.03.2017 shall be waived off in terms of Bills of Entry, filed belatedly , which pertains to IGMs filed from 11 a.m. on July 23, 2024 till 4 p.m. on July 24, 2024
