Relevant Rule: Maharashtra Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2018
Maharashtra Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) (Amendment) Rules, 2024 have been notified on July 22, 2024 to amend certain schedules annexed to the Rules as follows:
1) Insertion of Entry 13A in Form A, D and of Entry 11A in Form F w.r.t “Insurance certificate of establishment.”
2) Insertion of Entry 7A in Form R – Insurance policy number and date of validity of insurance policy of establishment.”.
3) In SCHEDULE appended to the principal Rules,-
(1) in PART-A, in entry (A), after sub-entry (3), the following sub-entry shall be inserted, namely :-
“(3A) Copy of insurance certificate of insurance of the establishment.”;
(2) in PART-B, in entry (B), after sub-entry (4), the following sub-entry shall be inserted, namely :-
“(4A) Copy of insurance certificate of insurance of the establishment.”;
(3) in PART-C, in entry (C), after sub-entry (2), the following sub-entry shall be added, namely :-
“(3) Copy of insurance certificate of insurance of the establishment.
