Interest Equalization Scheme Extended to December 31, 2024: Key Changes for MSMEs

The Government of India has extended the Interest Equalization Scheme for Pre and Post Shipment Rupee Export Credit until December 31, 2024, with these key changes:


– MSMEs can receive fiscal benefits up to ₹50 lakhs for FY 2024-25,applicable until December 31, 2024.


– MSME manufacturer exporter who have already availed equalisation benefits of ₹50 lakhs or more by September 30, 2024, are ineligible for further benefits during the extension.
