FCRA Applicants Urged to Promptly Respond to Online Queries to Avoid Rejection

The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a notice urging applicant associations under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA) to promptly respond to queries or clarifications raised during the online processing of applications for registration, renewal, or prior permission on the FCRA portal.

  1. The applications of registration, renewal and prior permission under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 are processed completely online in the FCRA portal.
  2. A system generated e-mail is sent to applicant associations informing them that a clarification has been requested and they need to log on to https://fcraonline.nic.in and to see the details and take necessary action and provide response on portal itself.
  3. Non-response or incomplete submissions to queries may lead to application denial.

Applicants are advised to regularly check their FCRA portal and email to avoid delays or rejections.
