The Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India has issued Revised Operational Guidelines for the AMI Sub-scheme of ISAM. These guidelines apply to projects for which term loans are sanctioned on or after 10th November 2024. The revisions include changes in subsidy rates, storage infrastructure assistance, and the eligibility criteria for various stakeholders such as PACS and cooperative institutions.
Highlights include:
1. Increased subsidy for PACS from 25% to 33.33%.
2. Updated subsidy rates for North Eastern States and other areas.
3. New provisions for ancillary infrastructure like boundary walls and drainage systems.
4. Specific eligibility conditions for storage and non-storage infrastructure projects, with certain restrictions for promoters in the same district.
