Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has issued a press release announcing free tools and resources on the SEBI Investor website and Saarthi App to enhance investor awareness and education. These resources aim to assist both prospective and existing investors in navigating their investment journey with confidence.

The SEBI Investor website offers a comprehensive suite of tools, including a Video Learning Repository with curated educational videos from exchanges, depositories, AMFI, NCFE, and others, covering topics like stocks, bonds, mutual funds, derivatives, personal finance, and investor-friendly initiatives.

A unique Spot a Scam tool helps investors assess the legitimacy of investment offers by answering targeted questions, ensuring they can identify scams and avoid fraudulent schemes. The Financial Health Checkup tool evaluates investors’ financial status through structured questions and provides actionable suggestions for financial improvement.

For effective financial planning, the platform includes 24 financial calculators catering to diverse needs, enabling investors to analyze and strategize investments effectively. Additionally, the website links to check the registration status of intermediaries, lists registered mobile trading apps, and provides a comparative fee structure for depository participants to facilitate informed decisions.

The platform also features Investor Charters, study materials for NISM certifications, and schedules for nationwide investor awareness programs. These efforts underscore SEBI’s commitment to safeguarding investors’ interests and empowering them with knowledge.

The Saarthi App complements the website by integrating features like financial health tools, scam detection modules, KYC procedures, mutual fund education, ETF insights, stock trading guidance, and access to the investor grievance redressal mechanism. It also supports Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) and includes videos on personal finance planning.
