The Central Government, exercising powers under section 35 of the Offshore Areas Mineral (Development and Regulation) Act, 2002, has introduced the Offshore Areas Mineral Conservation and Development Rules, 2024.
They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette that is December 31, 2024
