The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released draft formats for financial statements of co-operative banks, revising the forms set out in the Third Schedule of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949. These formats, originally notified in 1981, have been reviewed to incorporate developments in financial markets and updated accounting standards.
The RBI invites comments/feedback on these draft formats, which must be submitted by February 21, 2025. Submissions can be addressed to:
