The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has extended the deadline for registered entities under the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management & Transboundary Movement) Amendment Rules, 2022, to file their quarterly and annual returns for the financial year 2023-24.
Registered entities under the Waste Tyre EPR Portal (URL: https://www.eprtyrescpcb.in). are now required to file their returns by 31st January 2025. Initially the deadline was 30th June 2024 which later extended till 31st August 2024 and 31st December 2024.
During this extension period, the generation and transfer of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Certificates will continue on the Waste Tyre EPR Portal. This extension has been approved by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) via letter No. 12/136/2021-HSM dated 15th January 2025.
