Option to Allow Amendment during Final Assessment of Bill of Entry for Bulk Cargo

The EDI system has been updated to allow amendments in invoice value and quantity during the final assessment of bulk and liquid bulk cargo. Previously, only unit price amendments were permitted. Now, customs officers can also amend: 

  • Quantity 
  • Invoice number 
  • Freight charges 
  • Miscellaneous charges
     

The system will automatically recalculate the new assessable/invoice value based on these amendments. 

Compliance & Support: 

  • Officers should treat this as a Standing Order.
