The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), Bihar has issued a directive requiring promoters and real estate agents to display QR codes for all registered real estate projects. This will help buyers access verified project details easily. 

Requirements for Promoters: 

• The QR code must be displayed in:
  
• • Advertisements (Newspapers, online & offline platforms) 
    
  • Social media campaigns & other promotional materials 
    
  • Project website/webpage 
    
  • Prospectus, brochures, booking forms & allotment letters
    
  • Display boards at the project site 

The QR code must be placed beside the project registration number & website address, with a readable font size. 

Requirements for Real Estate Agents: 

•  Must provide the project’s QR code & registration details to buyers. 
  
  

Penalties for Non-Compliance: 

• Promoters violating this directive may face action under Section 61. 
   
• Real estate agents failing to comply may face penalties under Section 65.
