Updation of ISD GSTIN by Members

Applicable Act/Rule: Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 and Central Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017

BSE has mandated that all members who intend to receive invoices under their Input Service Distributor (ISD) registration must update or provide their ISD GST number along with a copy of the ISD registration certificate by March 24, 2025. This requirement precedes the implementation of ISD registration provisions effective from April 01, 2025.

Key points to note:

  • Each member is allowed to register only one ISD number with BSE.
  • Invoices from April 01, 2025, will be issued based on the ISD GST number updated or provided to BSE by March 24, 2025.
  • Requests for issuing invoices on the ISD GST number will only apply prospectively. BSE will not issue credit notes or fresh invoices for past invoices already issued on the regular GST number.

To avoid any inconvenience, members are advised to update their ISD registration details via the member portal and upload the ISD registration certificate in a readable format.
