Notification/Circular No.: 66/2024-25
Document Date: March 20, 2025
Applicable Act/Rule: Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has extended the support under the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) scheme for products manufactured by Advance Authorizations (AAs) holders, Special Economic Zones (SEZs), and Export-Oriented Units (EOUs) until February 5, 2025. This decision partially supersedes the earlier Notification No. 32/2024-25 dated September 30, 2024.
After February 5, 2025, exports from these categories will no longer qualify for RoDTEP benefits. However, the support for other categories, particularly Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) units, will continue as per the previous notification.
This extension provides temporary relief to exporters in AAs, SEZs, and EOUs, ensuring competitive pricing in international markets by offsetting duties and taxes embedded in export goods.
