Revised Eligibility Criteria for Migration from NSE SME Platform to Main Board

National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has revised the eligibility criteria governing the migration of companies from the NSE SME Platform to the NSE Main Board. This change, communicated via Circular No. 0680/2025 dated April 24, 2025, applies to all companies currently listed on the NSE SME platform that seek a transition to the main board.

As per the revised framework, companies must now meet the updated eligibility norms provided in Annexure I of the circular. These updated criteria are aimed at enhancing the quality and readiness of companies transitioning to the main board, thereby ensuring better compliance, financial robustness, and governance standards.

This circular will come into force on May 1, 2025, and shall be applicable to all migration applications submitted on or after this date.
