SION (Standard Input Output Norms) are guidelines set by the Indian Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) that define the amount of raw materials needed to produce an export product. These norms enable exporters to import raw materials duty-free, boosting the competitiveness of Indian goods in the global market.
DGFT has notified a new Standard Input Output Norm (SION) under Product Group ‘A’ (Chemical and Allied Products) with serial number A-3686.
