Instruction for Changing Login Credentials on Centralised EPR Portal for Plastic Packaging

Notification/Circular No. – Instruction Sheet dated June 05, 2025

Applicable Act/Rule – Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016

CPCB has issued a detailed 11-step procedure for changing login credentials on the Centralised EPR portal for plastic packaging, specifically for cases where the registered email ID and/or mobile number are no longer accessible:

  1. Access the complaint module at https://eprsupport.cpcb.gov.in/.
  2. Submit a complaint by selecting the issue “Lost Credentials” and specifying whether the change is for email, mobile, or both.
  3. Enter remarks explaining the reason for the request and generate a ticket.
  4. Validate the account using the unit’s GST number.
  5. Enter new details (email/mobile) and upload necessary documents including PAN, GST, authorization letter, and a notarized affidavit (Annexure I format).
  6. Submit the request for processing.
  7. Track request status through the dashboard.
  8. CPCB will verify submitted information and send a verification link/OTP to the new credentials.
  9. User must complete verification through the provided email link and mobile OTP.
  10. CPCB will approve or reject the request based on successful verification.
  11. A confirmation email will be sent indicating the outcome, and users can then reset their password and log in with the new credential

Affidavit Requirements: A non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100/- affidavit must be provided, declaring the change in authorised person and loss of access to previous credentials. This must be notarised and accompanied by supporting documents like:

  • Cover letter on company letterhead
  • Copy of EPR Certificate
  • GST Certificate (as per EPR portal)
  • Aadhar and PAN of new authorised person

These are to be physically sent to UPC-II, CPCB Head Office, East Arjun Nagar, Delhi – 110032.
