Revocation of Stage-I GRAP Measures in Delhi-NCR

Notification No.: 120017/27/GRAP/2021/CAQM dated 15 June 2025

Issuing Authority: Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) in NCR and adjoining regions

On 7 June 2025, CAQM enacted Stage I GRAP (“Poor” air quality, AQI 201–300) across Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR), pursuant to the revised GRAP schedule issued on 13 December 2024.

As of 15 June 2025, Delhi’s AQI improved significantly to 140, falling within the “Moderate” category (101–200). Meteorological forecasts from IMD/IITM indicate this trend is likely to continue.

Decision: Given the improved air quality, the GRAP Sub-Committee has revoked all Stage I measures enacted on 7 June, with immediate effect from 15 June 2025.
