SOP for Handling of Complaints Filed on the RERA Online Portal

To ensure transparency, efficiency, and accountability in grievance redressal, the Chhattisgarh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (CG RERA) has issued a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for complaints filed via the CG RERA online portal.

The SOP mandates the following procedure for filing and processing complaints:

  1. Pre-Conditions for Complaint Filing:
  • A mandatory filing fee of ₹1000 must be paid online during the submission process.
  • Within 7 days of online submission, the complainant must submit a hardcopy of the complaint along with all relevant documents in 4 + number of respondent copies to the CG RERA office.
  1. Acknowledgement Mechanism: After successful filing, the portal issues a reference number and shows a popup alert instructing the user to submit hardcopies.
  2. Complaint Workflow: Login → Online complaint filing → Fee payment → System acknowledgment → Hardcopy submission → Case processing by CG RERA.
