IFSCA Guidelines on Complaint Handling and Grievance Redressal for Regulated Entities

The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) has mandated regulated entities to establish effective complaint handling and grievance redressal mechanisms to safeguard financial consumers’ interests.

The guidelines apply to entities dealing with consumers, excluding group entities, foreign universities, ancillary service providers, BATF service providers, and finance units engaged in aircraft/ship leasing or treasury centers. These regulations will come into effect on January 15, 2025.
