1. Importers must apply for Import Authorization via the DGFT Import Management System.
2. The application portal will remain open from December 13, 2024, to December 15, 2025.
3. Authorizations issued will remain valid until December 31, 2025.
4. Multiple applications can be submitted throughout the year.
5. Amendment requests for issued authorizations can be made during their validity period.
This procedure follows earlier notifications and policy circulars extending the framework for restricted IT hardware imports.
