The FSSAI has issued an updated list of notified laboratories authorized to test fortificants (Iron, Vitamin B9, and Vitamin B12) in Fortified Rice (FR), Fortified Rice Kernel (FRK), and Vitamin-Mineral Premix for FRK. These laboratories are required to have valid accreditation and will accept samples for testing accordingly.
1. The list of approved laboratories is provided for testing fortificants in FR, FRK, and Vitamin-Mineral Premix.
2. The recognition and validity of these laboratories are subject to FSSAI guidelines, and the latest accreditation validity can be verified on the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) website.
3. This order supersedes the previous order issued on 18th November 2024.
