Description: 
The Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has withdrawn Para 2.76 of the Handbook of Procedures, 2023, which outlined the procedure for implementing the Track and Trace system for export consignments of drug formulations.  

Key points include: 

  1. The withdrawal is effective immediately. 
  2. The implementation of the authentication system for exported drug formulations will now be undertaken by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare under the provisions of the Drug Rules, 1945.
