SEBI Chairperson launched ‘Bond Central,’ a free, centralised database for corporate bonds in India. Developed by the Online Bond Platform Providers Association (OBPP) in collaboration with Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs), the platform aims to enhance transparency and informed decision-making for investors. 

Key Features: 

• Comprehensive Bond Listings – Unified view of corporate bonds across exchanges and issuers. 

• Price Comparison – Compare corporate bond prices with G-Secs and fixed-income indices. 

• Investor-Centric Information – Access to risk assessments, bond documents, and disclosures. 

• Enhanced Transparency – Standardized data to reduce information asymmetry.
