Notification / Order No.:
Applicable Act/Rule: Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016; Rajasthan Real Estate Regulatory Authority Regulations, 2024
Applicable Section/Rule: Section 37
Rajasthan Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) issued orders in May 2025 addressing project registration, fees, advertising standards, and compliance procedures:
1. No. F1(31)RJ/RERA/Authority Meeting/2019/659 dated May 23, 2025
Submission of Structural Drawings for Project Registration (Excluding Plotted Developments): While earlier regulations mandated uploading sealed and signed structural drawings by a qualified engineer at the time of registration, a pragmatic change now allows promoters to submit these drawings either during registration or anytime during the construction phase. However, the final structural drawings must be submitted before the promoter applies for any partial or full completion certificate. If drawings are not submitted at the registration stage, promoters must submit an undertaking or affidavit promising to submit the drawings in due course.
Exemption Certificate Process: Authority has discontinued the process of considering applications and issuing exemption certificates with immediate effect. Consequently, no fresh applications for exemption certificates will be accepted, and the relevant system modules will be updated accordingly.
Online Mechanism for Closure of Separate RERA Retention Accounts: IT Cell of Rajasthan RERA will develop a dedicated online module enabling promoters to apply for the closure of separate retention accounts electronically, as required by Regulation 11(8) of the RERA Regulations, 2024.
2. F1(31)Raj/RERA/Authority Meeting/2019/661 dated May 15, 2025
Plotted Development Project Fees: A revised fee structure for plotted development projects registration has been prescribed, effective 1 June 2025. Registration fees and standard fees per square meter are fixed based on land use category (refer order from below mentioned link)
3. F: 1(31)/RJ/RERA/AM/2019/647 dated May 22, 2025
Mandatory Advertising Standards: Rajasthan Real Estate Regulatory Authority issued the following directions in the interest of enhancing transparency, promoting consumer awareness, and protecting the rights of homebuyers:
Non-compliance with these advertising standards will attract penalties ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹50,000 per violation under Sections 63 and 65 of the RERA Act.
