Notification/Circular No. – NA

Date – May 31, 2025

Applicable Act/Rule – Companies Act, 2013

Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) is set to complete its transition from V2 to V3 of the MCA21 portal with the final rollout of 38 company e-forms. These include 13 annual filing forms and 6 audit/cost audit forms, set to go live on July 14, 2025 at 12:00 AM.

To ensure a smooth transition, stakeholders are advised to take note of the following important implementation instructions:

  1. All company e-filings on the V2 portal will be disabled from June 18, 2025 at 12:00 AM. Stakeholders must ensure no SRNs are left in pending payment or resubmission status.
  2. Offline payments under the “Pay Later” mode will be discontinued from June 8, 2025 at 12:00 AM. All payments must be completed online using Net Banking or Credit/Debit Cards.
  3. V3 portal will remain unavailable from July 9, 2025 at 12:00 AM to July 13, 2025 at 11:59 PM. Stakeholders must file or resubmit current V3 forms before this downtime. No fee waivers or extensions will be provided for filings due during this period.
  4. Users must create/upgrade/merge V2 accounts into the V3 portal as “Business User” and associate Digital Signature Certificates (DSC), if not already done.
  5. SRNs marked as “Pending for upload of Investor details” or “Pending for Subsidiary Details” must be updated using available V3 services before June 17, 2025, else they will be marked as “Not to be Registered” (NTBR).
