The Central Government has amended its earlier Order (S.O. 1830(E), dated April 22, 2025) to extend the compulsory use of jute packaging for commodities. The validity of this requirement, originally applicable up to June 30, 2025, has now been extended to September 30, 2025, or until further orders, whichever comes earlier.
