Temporary discontinuation of NSE goBID mobile application

Notification/Circular No. – NSE circular No – 09/2025 dated July 29, 2025

The NSE goBID platform was launched to facilitate retail investor participation in government securities through non-competitive bidding (NCB). Initially rolled out via circular NSE/IPO/39424 dated November 16, 2018, it allowed retail access to Government of India Dated Securities and Treasury Bills. This was followed by the inclusion of State Development Loans (SDLs) in 2019 and Debt IPOs in 2021. The goBID services were made available both via a web portal and a mobile app.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has announced a temporary discontinuation of the goBID Mobile App with effect from the end of day on July 30, 2025, until further notice. This partial modification of earlier circulars means that investors will no longer be able to use the mobile application (available for Android 4.4 and above) for their transactions in G-Secs, T-Bills, SDLs, and Debt IPOs.

However, this change affects only the mobile platform. The NSE goBID web portal remains fully operational and accessible through the following link: https://eipo.nseindia.com/eipodc/rest/login.

All retail participants are advised to migrate to the web-based version of the goBID platform for carrying out their investment activities related to non-competitive bidding in government securities and public issues in debt
