Standardisation of Extension & Regularisation Procedures under CG-RERA

Notification/Circular No. – Circular No. 130/CGRERA/2025/2017 dated September 23, 2025
Applicable Act/Rule: Chhattisgarh Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016

Chhattisgarh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (CG-RERA) has issued this amended circular to standardise procedures, fees, and late fees for extension and regularisation of real estate project registrations.

Extension of Project Registration:
Promoters seeking extension must submit Form-E with reasons, valid Coloniser Licence or self-declaration, Annexure-23 (if second extension), No Objection Certificate from two-thirds of allottees for extensions exceeding one year, and all QPR/AAR compliances.

  • Extension fee: 50% of original registration fee per year/part thereof.

 

Late Fee Structure for Extension Applications:

Regularisation of Projects:
For projects with expired registration but with Completion Certificate (CC):

  • Required documents: CC, Annexure-20, QPR/AAR compliances.
  • Regularisation fee: 25% of original registration fee per year/part thereof.
  • Exemption: No fee if CC obtained within 6 months of expiry; automatic regularisation based on CC and Annexure-20.
  • Late fee: 25% of registration fee if submitted after 2 months from CC issuance; Rs. 20,000 if no regularisation fee is payable but CC submitted late in QPR.

This circular supersedes previous orders and circulars (Order Nos. 13, 15, 16; Circulars 36, 114, 129). Completion will be accepted only on the basis of QPR submitted by the promoter
