The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) has issued the Sixth Amendment to the Insolvency Resolution Process for Corporate Persons Regulations, 2016, to streamline and simplify procedural aspects within the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP).

The amendment omits Regulation 39C entirely and makes specific modifications in Regulation 39D by inserting the word “and” after “Companies Act, 2013;” in clause (a), while omitting clause (b). Additionally, in Form H, paragraph 15(b) has been deleted.
