Revision of Wages for Part-time and Daily-wage Workers in Haryana

Effective date – January 1, 2025

The Haryana Government periodically revises wages for part-time and daily-wage workers engaged across departments, boards, and corporations. The last revision was issued through instructions dated August 10, 2022, based on rates fixed in January 2022.

The Government of Haryana has approved a revised wage structure for part-time and daily-wage workers effective January 1, 2025. The revised monthly, daily, and hourly rates are now aligned with district categories (Category I, II, and III), with variations based on the local cost index.

  • Category I Districts – Monthly wages range from ₹19,900 (Level 1) to ₹24,100 (Level 3). The daily rate varies between ₹765 and ₹927, and hourly rate between ₹96 and ₹116.
  • Category II Districts – Monthly wages range from ₹17,550 (Level 1) to ₹21,700 (Level 3), with daily rates between ₹675 and ₹835, and hourly rates between ₹84 and ₹104.
  • Category III Districts – Monthly wages range from ₹16,250 (Level 1) to ₹19,800 (Level 3), with daily rates between ₹625 and ₹787, and hourly rates between ₹78 and ₹98.
