The Government of Karnataka had earlier published the draft Code on Wages Karnataka Rules, 2021 for public consultation in March 2021. Objections and suggestions received on the said draft were examined by the State Government. Based on such consideration, a revised draft of the Code on Wages (Karnataka) Rules, 2026 has now been published for fresh public consultation.
The draft of the Code on Wages (Karnataka) Rules, 2026 is published for information of all persons likely to be affected.
Objections or suggestions on the draft rules may be submitted within forty-five days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette, after which the draft will be taken into consideration by the State Government.
