Applicable Acts / Rules: Companies Act, 2013; Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008
MCA had earlier vide notifications nos S.O. 4847(E), S.O. 4848(E), S.O. 4849(E), S.O. 4851(E) dated October 28, 2025 had undertaken a major administrative restructuring w.r.t RD/ROC offices to enhance regulatory efficiency and regional coverage for both companies and LLPs across India. The said notifications can be accessed at (https://1-comply.com/establishment-of-regional-directors-and-registrars-under-companies-act-2013-and-llp-act-2008/). Now in furtherance to the above, MCA has issued notifications reproduced herein below w.r.t amendments to delegations made under Section 2(41), 14, 8, 66, 208,153, 154 of Companies Act 2013 and Section 17 of LLP Act 2008. Also there has been a revamping of ROCs as adjudicating officers of varied jurisdictions under both the Acts. All the notifications are effective from February 16, 2026
