The Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Rules, 2014 govern the regulatory framework for organ and tissue transplantation across India. Rule 31 specifies procedural requirements under the said Rules. The Rules were last amended vide G.S.R. 821(E), dated November 6, 2025. The present notification further amends the 2014 Rules.
In the Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Rules, 2014, in rule 31, in sub-rule (4), in clause (c), the words—
“and by the National networking organization in case of Delhi”
shall be omitted.
This amendment removes the reference to the National networking organization in case of Delhi under clause (c) of sub-rule (4) of rule 31.
