The Bureau of Indian Standards issues notifications under Rule 15(1) of the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 2018 to establish new or revised Indian Standards and to specify withdrawal dates for superseded standards. These notifications publish the schedule of standards along with the date of establishment and the corresponding withdrawal date of previous versions, if any. The present notifications collectively establish several new or revised standards across sectors including information technology, financial services, electronics, electromagnetic compatibility, medical instruments, and energy measurement. Certain earlier standards remain concurrently applicable until their specified withdrawal date.

The Bureau of Indian Standards has notified the establishment of the following Indian Standards with effect from 06 March 2026:
