Chapter 95 of ITC (HS), 2022 prescribes import policy conditions applicable to toys and related goods. Policy Condition No. 2 contained multiple sub-clauses imposing specific requirements on import of such goods. The Government has now issued an amendment to modify the applicability of these conditions.
The Central Government has issued the following amendment:
“The Central Government hereby deletes Policy Condition No. 2 (iii) under Chapter 95 of ITC (HS), 2022 – Schedule I (Import Policy), with immediate effect.”
As a result:
The said condition is no longer applicable for import of goods covered under this chapter
