MahaRERA: Closure of Old MahaRERA Portal

MahaRERA launched MahaCRITI (MahaRERA Complaint and Regulatory Integrated Technology Implementation) at 11:59 PM on 31st August 2024, comprising Agent Lifecycle Management, Complaint Management, and Conciliation Management modules. The Project Lifecycle Management Module was subsequently launched on 5th May 2025. All new applications for Project Registration, Project Correction, Project Extension, and Project Quarterly Reporting were required to be submitted on MahaCRITI from 5th May 2025. Existing applications already submitted on the old portal (Maharera 1.0 Portal) prior to go-live were permitted to continue being processed on the old portal. Notices dated 15.10.2025 and 02.01.2026 were issued granting additional time for rectification of deficiencies and re-submission of applications on the old portal.

The old MahaRERA IT system (Maharera 1.0 Portal) shall stand closed and shall cease to accept any submission, resubmissions, or processing with effect from 11:59 PM on 10th May 2026. All pending incomplete applications on the old portal are ordered to be removed/closed for administrative purposes. Such closure shall not be construed as adjudication on merits of the applications, nor shall it amount to any rejection of the application.

The following directions have been issued:

  1. The old MahaRERA IT system shall stand closed and shall cease to accept any submission / resubmissions or processing with effect from 11:59 PM on 10th May 2026.
  2. All applications are required to be submitted only on MahaCRITI portal from 11th May 2026.
  3. All stakeholders are accordingly advised to take immediate steps to migrate their pending matters and to familiarise themselves with the MahaCRITI portal so as to ensure uninterrupted compliance with the provisions of the Act, the Rules and the Regulations.

Promoters who desire to pursue their pending applications may submit fresh applications on the MahaRERA Web portal 2.0 (MahaCRITI) in accordance with the applicable procedure and statutory requirements.
