Bureau of Indian Standards notified establishment of new and revised Indian Standards under Rule 15(1) of the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 2018.
The notification establishes the following Indian Standards with effect from May 15, 2026:

The notification further provides that IS 3009 : 2002 and IS 18698 : 2024 shall remain concurrently in force up to November 15, 2026, after which the existing standards shall stand withdrawn.
