On 16th July 2024, Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) (Amendment) Rules 2024 were released by GOI, MCA. The said rules shall be effective from 1st August 2024. It has been provided that now the Directors can update their mobile number and email id using Form DIR-3-KYC on or before 30th September 2024 of a financial year. Further updates to mobile number and email address during the same financial year can be done by submitting Form DIR – 3-KYC with a fee of Rs. 500/-
