The Directorate General of Foreign Trade allocated quantity of 8606 MTRV for export of raw cane sugar to USA under the TRQ scheme for US fiscal year 2026 covering the period from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026.
The Public Notice states that export of sugar under HS Code 17010000 to USA and EU under TRQ shall remain free subject to conditions notified in Notification No. 3/2015-20 dated April 20, 2015. Certificate of Origin, where required for preferential export of sugar to USA, shall be issued by Additional Director General of Foreign Trade, Mumbai on recommendation of APEDA regarding entity and quantity eligibility. Other certification requirements prescribed for export of sugar to USA shall continue to apply.
The quota shall be operated by APEDA, New Delhi as implementing agency for TRQ items to USA. Reporting requirements notified under Notification No. 3/2015-2020 dated April 20, 2015 read with Notification No. 20 dated July 09, 2015 shall continue to apply.
