The Standard Input Output Norms (SION) prescribe input-output ratios for export products to regulate duty-free import of inputs. These norms apply to exporters operating under the Foreign Trade Policy. From time to time, amendments are made to align input quantities with industry requirements. The present update modifies the import quantity allowed for a specific input item under SION A-2005.
