Stakeholders raised concerns about whether a loan license is required when a medical device manufacturer outsources sterilization to a licensed third-party facility. The issue was examined by a sub-committee formed after the 61st Drugs Consultative Committee (DCC) meeting. Relaxation of Time Limit for processing of Valid Returns of Income filed electronically
In certain cases where taxpayers were allowed to file income-tax returns belatedly after obtaining condonation of delay under Section 119(2)(b) of the Income-tax Act, those returns could not be processed in time due to technical issues. Consequently, refunds could not be issued, prompting multiple grievances.
