Ministry of Labour and Employment issued a notification appointing officers to perform the functions of Certifying Officers under the Industrial Relations Code, 2020.
The notification specifies the jurisdiction of Additional Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) and Regional Labour Commissioners (Central) for different States, Union Territories and regions across India. The notification covers certification functions relating to joint draft standing orders by groups of employers engaged in similar industrial establishments and other industrial establishments within specified territorial jurisdictions.
“the Central Government hereby appoints the Officers, mentioned in column (2) of the Table to perform the functions of a certifying officer in the areas specified in column (3) of the said Table, namely:-”
