The Government of India has issued G.S.R. 152(E) to amend Notification No. 26/2024-CUSTOMS (ADD), dated 4th December 2024. 

Key Changes: 

1. Correction in Description (Page 4, Table, S. No. 1, Column 3) 

• The description “Textured Toughened (Tempered) Coated and Uncoated Glass” is now updated to “Textured Toughened (Tempered) Coated and Uncoated Glass *”.
  
  

2. Addition of Specification (Page 5, After Table) 

• A footnote is added specifying that the glass must have: 

1. • Minimum 90.5% transmission, 

• • Thickness not exceeding 4.2 mm (±0.2 mm tolerance), and 

• • At least one dimension exceeding 1500 mm, whether coated or uncoated. 
     

This amendment clarifies the technical specifications for Textured Toughened (Tempered) Glass covered under the notification, ensuring precise classification for anti-dumping duties.
