The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) issued draft amendments via G.S.R. 753(E) dated 17 October 2023, inviting public comments. After reviewing all stakeholder inputs, the Central Government has finalized the Environment (Protection) Sixth Amendment Rules, 2025 via G.S.R. 487(E).
