Exclusion of Aadhar Card from list of Acceptable Documents for Proof of Date of Birth

ESIC had received directives from UIDAI that Aadhaar shall no longer be accepted as proof of date of birth for Insured Persons and their dependents. Accordingly, The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has released a circular regarding the exclusion of date of birth comparison in demographic details during the Aadhaar seeding process for beneficiaries, in accordance with UIDAI guidelines. This change has been implemented in the application starting July 23, 2024. All previous mismatch cases should be handled according to standard conditions.
