NSDL had earlier introduced a “No Settlement Fees” benefit for accounts opened under the Youth Plan. This benefit was applicable for three years from the date of opening a new client account, provided the account was opened within one year from the implementation date of the Youth Plan (October 01, 2024).
The validity of the “No Settlement Fees” benefit has now been extended by NSDL for an additional one year. Accordingly, all accounts opened under the Youth Plan will continue to enjoy exemption from settlement fees from October 01, 2025 till September 30, 2026.
Participants are advised to note this extension and ensure compliance in line with NSDL’s Business Rules.
