Under the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022, registered producers, manufacturers, recyclers and refurbishers are required to file quarterly and annual returns on the E-Waste EPR Portal for each financial year. The deadline for filing returns for FY 2024–25, initially set for April 30, 2025, was first extended to June 30, 2025, and has now been further extended to August 15, 2025.
The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has extended the due date for filing both quarterly and annual returns for FY 2024–25 on the E-Waste EPR Portal from June 30, 2025, to August 15, 2025.
Entities may now file their returns on the official portal at https://www.eprtewastecpcb.in by the revised deadline. Failure to comply by August 15, 2025, may attract action under the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986.
