• For Coffee-Chicory Mixture: Packaging must prominently display the phrase “COFFEE BLENDED WITH CHICORY” followed by “THIS MIXTURE CONTAINS”. The exact percentage of Coffee and Chicory must be clearly mentioned, expressed either with the word “PERCENT” or the symbol “%”.
• For Instant Coffee-Chicory Mixture: The label must read “INSTANT COFFEE-CHICORY MIXTURE” with an explanatory note “MADE FROM BLENDS OF COFFEE AND CHICORY”. Percentages of both Coffee and Chicory must also be specified, using either the word or the percentage symbol.

This amendment replaces the earlier provision under sub-paragraph 2.2 and ensures consumers are able to make informed choices by knowing the exact ingredient composition directly from the front label.
