As per the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, and corresponding Chhattisgarh Rules, all real estate agents registered with CG RERA are required to comply with certain annual reporting duties to ensure transparency and proper conduct in the real estate sector. To reinforce this obligation, CG RERA has issued directions under Section 37 of the Act.

The instructions include:

1. All real estate agents registered with Chhattisgarh RERA must upload an annual report in the prescribed format, Annexure-C, to the RERA web portal. This format is available under the “Download” menu in the “Annexure” section of the authority’s website (https://rera.cgstate.gov.in/).
2. Registered agents must upload the annual report within six months (by September 30th) after the end of each financial year.
3. Agents who were already registered with Chhattisgarh RERA must upload their annual reports in the Annexure-C format for the financial years from their registration date up to the financial year 2023-24. This must be done by July 31, 2025.
4. Annexure-C form must be signed and self-certified. A soft copy in PDF format must be uploaded to the web portal.
5. Penalties for Non-Compliance:

• Incorrect Information: If an agent provides any false information or conducts incorrect transactions, action will be taken against them under the provisions of the Act.
• Late Submission: Failure to submit the annual report within the specified time frame will result in a late fee of INR 200 per day.
• Cancellation of Registration: Non-submission of the annual report within the deadline may also lead to the cancellation of the agent’s registration.
