Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued a circular to all Agency Banks regarding the operation of the e-Kuber platform for government transactions on March 30, 2025. Key points include:

Background:
e-Kuber, the Core Banking Solution platform of RBI, does not process government transactions on global holidays, including Sundays.
March 30, 2025, falls on a Sunday, which is a global holiday.

Special Working Day:
Following guidance from the Office of Controller General of Accounts, Government of India, March 30, 2025, has been designated as a working day for government transactions to ensure all receipts and payments are accounted for within the financial year 2024-25.

Operational Measures:
e-Kuber will remain operational for government transactions on March 30, 2025.
Agency Banks must ensure all government-related transactions are processed through e-Kuber on this date to reflect accurate cash balances for both the Central and State Governments.
Luggage files for government transaction data transfer to RBI will be accepted by e-Kuber up to the stipulated cut-off time on March 30, 2025.
